What we do

Day Opportunities are situated at several locations across the district to allow easy access and are open Monday to Friday.  The service supports adults with severe learning disabilities and complex needs, and works with families and individuals in partnership to meet their needs and aspirations.  We recognise that everyone is unique and aim to provide personal support focusing on the following.

• Work experience

• Recreational activities

• Education

• Social skills

• Person care

• Therapy services, meeting health and sensory related needs

Day Opportunities staff support the values of Dignity, Respect, Privacy, Choice, Empowerment and Equal Opportunity and will work to promote the individuals independence and achieve their personal goals.
